Residential & Commercial Addendum (Exhibit B)

Last Updated: 2026

This Addendum supplements GT Power’s service agreement and applies to residential and commercial electrical work unless superseded by a written contract signed by both parties. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.

1. Incorporation & Priority

This Addendum is part of your agreement with GT Power and should be read together with our Terms of Service and any written estimate or contract for the specific job.

If there is a conflict between this Addendum and a signed job-specific contract, the signed contract controls for that job only.

2. Scope & Quotes

Work is limited to the scope described in the approved estimate or contract. Work outside that scope requires a written change order with agreed pricing before it is performed.

Verbal requests for additional work may be documented and confirmed in writing (including email or text) before billing.

3. Permits, Inspections & Codes

Where required, GT Power will obtain permits and schedule inspections in accordance with applicable codes and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

Delays caused by the AHJ, weather, utility coordination, or unavailable customer access may adjust scheduling without liability for indirect costs.

The customer is responsible for disclosing known conditions (e.g., asbestos, hazardous materials, undisclosed prior work) that may affect the job or require specialty contractors.

4. Access, Utilities & Site Conditions

The customer will provide safe access to work areas, lockout/tagout cooperation where applicable, and a reasonable workspace free of unnecessary hazards.

Power may need to be shut off for safety; the customer will be notified when possible. Commercial sites must designate an authorized contact for access and decisions.

5. Customer-Furnished Items

Equipment, fixtures, or materials supplied by the customer must be suitable for the intended use and compatible with the installation. GT Power is not responsible for defects in customer-furnished material or for manufacturer requirements not provided at the time of quote.

6. Warranties

Workmanship warranties, if any, are as stated in your job contract or estimate. Manufacturer warranties apply to products per the manufacturer’s terms.

Warranty service does not cover misuse, alteration by others, normal wear, or damage from events outside GT Power’s control (e.g., surges, floods, accidents).

7. Commercial-Specific Notes

For commercial projects, the customer remains responsible for business continuity plans, notifying occupants of outages, and coordinating with facilities or property management.

After-hours, expedited, or premium scheduling may incur additional charges if agreed in advance.

8. Residential-Specific Notes

For residential work, an adult authorized to approve additional work should be available or reachable during service when modifications to scope may arise.

Concealed conditions (e.g., outdated wiring, inaccessible routes) may require scope and pricing adjustments after reasonable discovery.

9. Changes to This Addendum

GT Power may update this Addendum from time to time. The version posted at the time of your engagement or the version referenced in your contract applies unless otherwise agreed in writing.
